European Roulette And American Roulette

"En Prison" and "Surrender":
The difference between En Prison and Surrender: In Europe, if the wheel has a single zero all the even-money wagers are frozen, or put "En Prison", until a non-zero number is rolled; it will decide the fate of the bet. From a casino advantage of 2.70% it brings it down to 1.35%, for all that bet on even-money bets on the outside.
The same thing happens to "Surrender", it also lowers down the casino advantage in half for players who bet even-money, but not quite in the same way. Instead of frozen bets you will lose half of your bet if the zero is hit.
Table Layout and Seating:
In Europe, you will normally find two layouts for betting, with one single-zero wheel in the middle. The spinner is the one who operates the wheel. There is a dealer on both sides to watch the layout of the betting, and help with players placing bets.
In North America, it is customary to have one wheel with each betting layout. The position of the wheel is at the far side/top of the table. Sometimes a dealer is positioned behind the wheel and they are the one that controls the game.
